I was suffering from intense hormonal migraines. Like clockwork, the migraines would debilitate me on average for 8-15 days per month. Along with severe head pain that required emergency room treatment, I would have multiple days that were filled with nausea, vertigo, dizziness and sleeplessness. Shlomo and my acupuncture treatments impacted my quality of life immediately. From the first treatment, I began to sleep better and my nausea was reduced. I only needed 4 treatments and I have been free of migraines for over 6 months now.
Shlomo took the time and care to get to know my symptoms and me. I felt understood, cared for and supported throughout my time with Shlomo. He is knowledgeable, warm and highly skilled. I would recommend Shlomo for anyone experiencing migraines or other ailments that can be addressed through acupuncture. I had never received acupuncture treatment prior to the migraines. I would return to Shlomo for treatment in the future.
I am a 44 year old mother of two who has suffered from seasonal allergies for 19 years. My seasonal allergies started while I was pregnant with my first child and had become progressively worse over the years. I am allergic to a variety of trees, grass and ragweed. My allergy season starts at the end of March and goes straight through to November. About 10 years ago I was told by an Allergist that I was close to needing allergy shots to avoid further health complications. Last year’s allergy season was my worst and I feared that I would have to start going for allergy shots, because I started to experience shortness of breath and chest pains.
On the advice of an associate I scheduled an appointment with Shlomo Lang for acupuncture treatment of seasonal allergies. The process was very simple and relaxing. It was not at all what I expected from acupuncture. I started to experience positive results within a day or two of my first treatment. I no longer wake up with a sore throat and sinus pain. My husband informed me that I am no longer snoring.
I feel that I am getting a more restful night sleep. Best of all I can enjoy gardening without paying the price of watery eyes and a runny nose. And I cannot believe the newscasters when they are reporting that the 2014 allergy season is worse than last years.

Several years ago I was struck with Bell's palsy. Being in the medical field, I had instant access to all the conventional treatments, which I took. I underwent all the required testing, and the source of the Bell's palsy was never found out.
The left side of my face was terribly disfigured, I drooled, and my speech was impaired. I also fell into the percentile of patients where the condition did not resolve. I was constantly aware of this situation and it caused me great emotional stress. My face twitched and the muscles pulled, all out of my control.
I read about Botox as a treatment for Bell's palsy, and for 3 years I received Botox injections. My face twitched sometimes, I did not drool as much, but my left eye lid was always open, causing dry eye. The left side of my face was fatter than the right. I had no muscle tone to the left side of my face. I looked terrible! People thought I had had a stroke.
One day, a good friend mentioned said that she avoided wrist surgery with acupuncture treatment. Alarms went off in my head and I asked her for the name of the acupuncturist. She introduced me to Shlomo Lang.
It has been over a six month journey so far. My results have been remarkable! The symmetry of my face returned. My left eye lid functions normally and I don't carry around a bottle of eye drops. My face doesn't twitch and I rarely feel that annoying muscle pull. My speech is clearer. I really feel better about myself! And no more Botox!
Friends and associates that don't see me that often have commented how good my face looks, so far as to say "did it go away?"
I only have two regrets... first that I didn't try acupuncture sooner, second that i didn't take a before and after picture.

I suddenly developed chronic migraines in May 2017. I had days where I couldn’t leave the couch and had to sit in the dark. Work became difficult as I am an elementary school teacher, so the fluorescent lights hurt my eyes, and the loud children's voices amplified the migraines. After visiting two different neurologists that only wanted me to try medication after medication, I decided I needed to try something different and wanted to try acupuncture. Shlomo took time our first appointment to talk about my migraines, what else I was doing to combat my migraines and my hopes for our sessions. After just my first session I could tell the acupuncture was helping my migraines subside. After about a month of weekly treatments, I went from 5 to 7 migraines a week to just 1 or 2. We have continued our sessions, and each time Shlomo takes the time to ask me how I’ve been feeling since our last session. If I’ve had more than expected (as I’m now down to about 1-2 every two – two and a half weeks) we chat about why they may be occurring. It is clear to me Shlomo genuinely cares about my well-being. If anyone is searching for relief from migraines, looking to move away from the medications neurologists are looking to throw at the problem, or just need extra relief, I would recommend Shlomo for acupuncture."
Shlomo Lang is an excellent acupuncturist and I highly recommend him. I went to see him when my husband and I started trying to conceive. I have had a history of migraines since childhood and was off all of my medication for the first time in 14 years. I was getting migraines most days and some cluster headaches when I started seeing him. The treatments really helped reduce my headaches and my pain. I was pregnant six weeks later and continued to see Shlomo for my migraines as well as morning sickness. He even was able to help me with the colds I kept getting all winter. After a few more months of weekly or biweekly treatments, I was feeling much better and was able to leave the office with few headaches. I did not know if acupuncture would truly help me because I was used to being on prescription medication and injections most of my life for severe migraines. I was nervous about stopping all my medication and trying something new, but I am so glad I did. It was incredibly helpful.
